A senior level Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday to follow up on mediators’ efforts to conclude a ceasefire deal in Gaza, the Hamas Movement announced in a statement.
It added that the delegation headed by Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, the deputy leader of Hamas in Gaza Strip, included Dr. Ghazi Hamad, Zaher Jabarin, and Mohammed Nasr.
The statement pointed out that the delegates would confer “with Egyptian and Qatari mediators on the deal to end the aggression on our people in Gaza.”
The Movement announced on Monday that it agreed to the ceasefire deal brokered by Egypt and Qatar. (ILKHA)
