Uganda'da birçok yardım projesini hayata geçirmek için hummalı çalışmalarına devam eden Umut Kervanı, ülkede en çok âlim ve hafız yetiştiren bir okulda çok sayıda öğrenciye Kur'an-ı Kerim hediye etti.
Ülkede sürdürdüğü yardım çalışmaları kapsamında binlerce kişiye ulaşan Umut Kervanı ekibi, hayata geçirdiği çok sayıda proje ile ihtiyaç sahiplerine ulaşmaya devam ediyor.
Vakıf, hayırseverlerin desteğiyle ülkede kestirdiği adak, akika ve şükür kurbanlarından elde edilen etleri ihtiyaç sahiplerine ulaştırmanın yanı sıra, yüzlerce katarakt hastasını da ameliyat ederek yeniden görmesine vesile oldu.
2024-2025 eğitim öğretim yılı nedeniyle çok sayıda öğrenciye kırtasiye yardımı da ulaştıran Umut Kervanı, bölgede aynı zamanda gıda ve giyim yardımı da gerçekleştirdi.
Mevlid-i Nebi vesilesiyle ülkede yüzlerce kişiye mevlid yemekleri de ikram eden vakıf, Şehid İsmail Heniyye adına yapılacak cami için de temel atma töreni gerçekleştirdi.
Yardım çalışmalarını aralıksız olarak sürdüren vakıf, bu kez ülkeye en çok alim ve hafız yetiştiren bir okuldaki öğrencelere Kur'an-ı Kerim hediye etti.
Yaptıkları yardımı çalışmasıyla ilgili konuşan Umut Kervanı Van Derneği Başkanı Sedat Vatan, "Umut Kervanı olarak Uganda'da en köklü ve en eski İslam okullarından birisindeyiz. Burası Uganda'ya en çok âlim ve hafız yetiştiren okullardan birisi. Siz hayırseverlerin bağışladığı Kur'an-ı Kerim'leri öğrencilere ulaştırdık. Allah hayrınızı kabul etsin." dedi. (İLKHA)
