A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Çelikhan district of Adıyaman province in southeastern Türkiye on Thursday.
The earthquake occurred at approximately 1:47 pm local time (TSI) according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) of Türkiye.
The epicenter was located at 38.08833 degrees north latitude and 38.33583 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 7 kilometers.
There are currently no reports of casualties or damage from the earthquake.
The earthquake underscores the ongoing seismic risks in the region as recovery and rebuilding efforts continue in the aftermath of the February disaster. (ILKHA)
