A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Hamah region of Syria today at approximately 13:15 local time.
The tremor was felt in the Turkish provinces of Hatay, Gaziantep, and Kilis near Syrian border, local sources reported.
According to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the earthquake's depth was recorded at 7.16 kilometers.
While the quake caused some alarm in the region, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
