A significant earthquake of 5.6 magnitude jolted the Sulusaray district of Tokat province in Türkiye's mid-Black Sea region on Saturday, according to an announcement by the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency on its website.
The earthquake struck at approximately 18:11 TSI. The epicenter was recorded at a latitude of 40.05806 degrees north and a longitude of 35.95611 degrees east, with a depth of 5.99 km.
As of now, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or damages following the quake.
