Turkish authorities arrested eight individuals suspected of affiliation with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) during an anti-terrorism operation launched in Istanbul.
The operation stemmed from an investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terror and Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau, which identified 15 suspects allegedly linked to ISIS activities.
Provincial Security Directorate teams executed arrest warrants for the suspects, resulting in the apprehension of eight. Authorities are continuing their pursuit of the remaining individuals. (ILKHA)
