Turkey has so far reported 908 deaths from coronavirus pandemic, in an increase of 96 in the last 24 hours, said the Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca in a statement on Twitter.
4,056 new cases were confirmed with the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 42,282 in the country.
1,552 patients are being treated at the intensive care units. Of those, 1,017 people are mechanically ventilated patients.
Until now, 2,142 patients have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital.
A total of 276,338 tests have been conducted for coronavirus in the country. (ILKHA)
