Turkey’s Defense Ministry Hulusi Akar met with Khalid Mashri, the head of the High Council of State of Libya, in Ankara on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Akar pointed to 500-year-old historical friendship, fraternal ties between Turkey and Libya, and stated that Turkey will continue its training and advisory activities in the military and security fields that it has given to its Libyan brothers.
Reiterating Turkey’s support for UN-recognized Libyan government, Akar underlined that Turkey would continue to make every effort in order to secure political stability in Libya. (ILKHA)
