A protest march will be held in Diyarbakır on Saturday to show support for the Palestinian people, following the assassination of Ismail Heniyeh, the Hamas Political Bureau Chief, in Tehran.
The demonstration is organized by Islamic Civil Society Organizations to draw attention to the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
The march will begin at 20:00 from Petrol Ofisi on Fırat Boulevard in the central Kayapınar district and will conclude with a press statement in front of Ceylanlar Shopping Mall.
This event responds to a call from Ismail Haniyeh, who had urged the Islamic world and other nations to show solidarity with Gaza and Palestinian prisoners on August 3, before his assassination.
The Diyarbakır march aims to spotlight the suffering of Palestinians and express solidarity with the victims of the conflict, reflecting a broader call for global action and support for the Palestinian cause. (ILKHA)
