Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan talked to German Chancellor Angela Merkel over the phone, Turkey’s Communications Directorate said in a statement on Thursday.
During the conversation, two leaders discussed developments in the eastern Mediterranean and bilateral relations as well as the developments regarding regional issues, as the developments regarding regional issues, according to the statement.
President Erdogan expressed his support for resolving the problems in the Eastern Mediterranean on the basis of fairness and dialogue under international law.
