Erdoğan hosts Ukraine’s Yermak in Ankara to discuss security, defense ties

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, according to a statement from the Communications Directorate of the Republic of Türkiye.
During the meeting, Erdoğan and Yermak coordinated their positions ahead of a Ukrainian delegation's talks with Russian representatives in Istanbul later today.
Yermak expressed gratitude for Türkiye’s consistent political and security support for Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia.
The discussions also covered regional security, stability challenges, and prospects for enhanced defense cooperation between Türkiye and Ukraine.
Yermak described the talks as "constructive" on his Telegram channel, adding, "We are grateful for the meeting."
Additionally, the Ukrainian delegation held meetings with Senior Advisor to the Turkish President Akif Çağatay Kılıç and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, further strengthening bilateral ties. (ILKHA)
