Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna to visit Türkiye
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna will pay an official visit to Türkiye on Friday for high-level talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced.
During the visit, the two ministers are expected to discuss ways to strengthen defense cooperation between Türkiye and Estonia, both members of the NATO alliance. The talks will also cover regional and European security issues, including developments in the Black Sea region, NATO’s eastern flank, and ongoing geopolitical challenges in Europe.
Officials said the visit reflects the two countries’ commitment to deepening bilateral relations and working together within NATO to promote regional stability and security.
The meeting will mark Tsahkna’s first official visit to Ankara since assuming office, and it is expected to include discussions on expanding cooperation in cybersecurity, defense technology, and strategic communication. (ILKHA)
