European Orphan Hand unveils 2025 Eid al-Adha Qurbani campaign for 30 countries

European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli), a globally recognized humanitarian aid organization, has launched its 2025 Eid al-Adha Qurbani initiative, aiming to distribute sacrificial meat to orphans and impoverished families in 30 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Balkans.
The announcement, made by Vice President Serdar Şişman in a statement to İlke News Agency, marks the continuation of the organization’s long-standing tradition of delivering vital support to vulnerable communities during the Islamic festival of sacrifice.
“As European Orphan Hand, we are active year-round, with orphan support at the heart of our mission,” said Şişman. “Our projects span from Afghanistan and Yemen to Bangladesh and numerous countries in Asia and Africa. Alongside Qurbani efforts, we implement development initiatives such as mosque construction, winter relief distribution, cataract surgeries, dairy goat donations, and water well drilling.”
The 2025 Qurbani campaign will be executed by trained volunteer teams, who will travel to designated regions to supervise the sacrifice process in accordance with Islamic principles. In countries where travel is restricted, sacrifices will be conducted through trusted local partner organizations. All animals will undergo veterinary inspection prior to slaughter, and the entire process—from sacrifice to meat distribution—will be documented for donor transparency.
“Our teams are fully mobilized,” Şişman stated. “We guarantee that sacrifices will be performed strictly according to Islamic rules, with veterinary oversight. The meat will go directly to those most in need—orphans, widows, and destitute families.”
Donors are invited to participate in the campaign through the organization’s official website, bank accounts, or direct contact with headquarters. Prices have been designated as €100 for Africa, €150 for Asia, Yemen, and Afghanistan, and €375 for Turkey and the Balkans.
Şişman concluded with a message of compassion and determination: “Wherever there are oppressed and needy people, we will be there to deliver the blessings of Qurban, Inshallah.”
European Orphan Hand has earned a solid reputation for its effective, transparent, and faith-driven humanitarian work, especially in regions suffering from war, displacement, and extreme poverty. With the 2025 Eid al-Adha approaching, the organization’s Qurbani initiative promises to bring sustenance, hope, and a sense of solidarity to thousands around the world. (ILKHA)
