Four members of a family from Duhok city of Iraqi Kurdistan were killed by unidentified gunmen in Turkey’s southeastern Mardin province on Thursday.
The incident took place at around 1:00 TSI near the Yeniköy neighborhood of the Artuklu district on the Mardin-Nusaybin Highway, according to local sources.
The officials said the deceased were identified as Abdullah Salih Mustafa Mamîsî ,69, his wife Çimen Şahin Halid ,75, and their daughter Hindirin Abdullah Salih, 39, and Wahide Haydar Casim, 63.
Police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. (ILKHA)
