Hope Caravan Foundation set to launch aid mission in Afghanistan

In a humanitarian endeavor spanning multiple countries, Hope Caravan Foundation is embarking on a mission to provide vital aid, inaugurate projects, and address urgent needs.
The foundation, led by President Cengiz Kurtaran and Secretary General Nurullah Günaydın, will carry out a series of activities in Afghanistan, while simultaneously responding to crises in Morocco and Libya.
The humanitarian organization is set to carry out a series of projects in Afghanistan, including the opening of mosques, launching water well initiatives, and distributing vital supplies. The mission will take place between September 15th and 22nd, with the active participation of Cengiz Kurtaran, President of the foundation, and Nurullah Günaydın, Secretary General.
Cengiz Kurtaran
Cengiz Kurtaran expressed the foundation's enduring commitment to aiding their Afghan brothers and sisters. He stated: "As Hope Caravan, we have always rushed to the aid of our brothers in Afghanistan, we have always been in solidarity with them. We will try to heal the wounds of our brothers there by increasing our aid even more. On September 15th, God willing, we will go there. We will inaugurate two mosques there and lay the foundation for the Saladin Ayyubi Mosque. These mosques are used both as places of worship and as madrasas and places of education.”
Kurtaran further emphasized the urgency of providing food assistance to the Afghan population, announcing the launch of sacrifice projects and a dairy cow initiative aimed at improving livelihoods. Additionally, water well projects will be initiated to address the severe water scarcity issue in the region.
Urgent calls for assistance in Morocco and Libya
In addition to their Afghanistan program, the Hope Caravan Foundation issued urgent appeals for aid in response to recent crises in Morocco and Libya. Morocco is reeling from an earthquake, while Libya faces devastating floods.
Kurtaran underscored the gravity of the situation, stating: "We had already made our Afghanistan program in advance. However, there is an earthquake country (Morocco) that needs urgent help right now. We made an urgent call for help there. Our brothers will arrive in the region and conduct their aid work. Especially the first thing to be done will be the distribution of hot food, water, and bread."
He also highlighted the catastrophic flood in Libya, where thousands of lives have been lost, and tens of thousands of people remain missing. "As Caravan of Hope, we will do our best to heal the wounds," Kurtaran pledged.
