HÜDA PAR: Iran’s resilience shatters Israel’s military myth

HÜDA PAR Deputy Chairman Dr. Halef Yılmaz has characterized the 12-day conflict between Iran and Israel as a defining episode in the region’s shifting geopolitical order.
Declaring Iran the strategic victor, Yılmaz described the war as a decisive failure for Israeli occupation regime. His remarks, shared via his official social media account, included a passionate call for Islamic nations to unite in the face of ongoing regional aggression and instability, advocating for collective defense, reconciliation, and a reassertion of Islamic principles in global affairs.
Israel’s Failed Military Objectives
Dr. Yılmaz asserted that Israel’s military campaign against Iran was driven by three primary objectives: neutralizing Iran’s nuclear capabilities, dismantling its ballistic missile program, and destabilizing the Islamic Republic to provoke internal regime change. According to Yılmaz, Israel failed comprehensively on all fronts.
“Iran has fully preserved its nuclear capacity, demonstrating its resilience under pressure,” he stated. “During the conflict, Iran tested an array of ballistic missiles, including previously untested models, proving its ability to strike deep into Israeli territory with precision and force.” He emphasized that Israel’s inability to disrupt Iran’s missile program marked a significant strategic setback.
Yılmaz also highlighted the war’s impact on Israel’s military reputation. “For the first time, Israel has suffered serious destruction and failed to achieve even a fraction of the success it boasted during the 1967 Six-Day War,” he said, referencing Israel’s rapid victory over six Arab nations and its territorial expansion during that conflict. In contrast, he argued, Iran’s steadfast defense has fundamentally altered perceptions of regional power dynamics.
A Regional Awakening
The HÜDA PAR Deputy Chairman underscored the broader implications of the conflict, describing it as a turning point in the Middle East. “The majority of countries in the region now believe that Israel is not invincible,” he said. “The myth of Israel’s untouchable military dominance has been shattered, and this shift in perception could reshape the region’s future.”
Yılmaz also pointed to a rare moment of national unity within Iran. He noted that the conflict galvanized the Iranian population, including opposition groups that had previously been critical of the government, to rally behind the leadership in defense of the nation. “Traitors who collaborated with Israeli regimi were exposed, and Israel gravely underestimated Iran’s internal cohesion,” he added, suggesting that the war strengthened Iran’s domestic stability rather than weakening it as Israel had hoped.
A Call for Islamic Unity
At the heart of Yılmaz’s statement was an urgent call for Islamic nations to forge a united front against external aggression. Criticizing the region’s reliance on foreign powers, he urged Muslim countries to break free from dependence on the United States, Russia, and other global actors. “Muslim nations must stop turning to Western powers to resolve their internal conflicts,” he said. “Instead, they must seek peaceful and just solutions rooted in Qur’anic principles and the teachings of the Prophet.”
To operationalize this vision, Yılmaz proposed a series of concrete steps for Islamic countries to pursue:
-Establish a Collective Defense Agreement: A pact declaring that an attack on one Islamic nation is an attack on all, fostering mutual security and deterrence.
-Promote Sunni-Shia Reconciliation: Urging Iran to take proactive steps to build trust with Sunni-majority nations, fostering sectarian harmony within the Islamic world.
-Strengthen the D-8 Alliance: Mobilizing the Developing-8 (D-8) nations, under the leadership of Türkiye and Iran, to form a robust political and economic bloc capable of countering Western influence.
-Form a Non-Aggression Pact: Creating an immediate agreement among nations such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, and others willing to participate, to ensure regional stability and cooperation.
-Open Land Corridors for Palestine: Launching diplomatic efforts to establish access routes through Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt to support the occupied Palestinian territories.
Yılmaz emphasized that these measures are not only feasible but essential for the survival and prosperity of the Islamic world in an era of heightened geopolitical tensions.
A Shift in the Balance of Power
While acknowledging the ongoing tragedy in Gaza, where Israeli aggression continues unabated, Yılmaz argued that Iran’s performance in the conflict has fundamentally altered the regional balance of power. “This is not just about Israel,” he said. “The West—particularly the G7 nations and the United Kingdom—recognizes that if Israel falls, the entire Western political order could face profound consequences.”
However, he also offered a candid assessment of Iran’s vulnerabilities. “Iran’s air defense systems remain very weak, and this must be addressed urgently,” he cautioned. He further warned of internal threats, stating: “There are numerous traitors within Iran, including those who facilitated the establishment of a drone production facility in Tehran.” Yılmaz urged Iranian authorities to conduct a thorough review of their strategic and security frameworks to address these weaknesses.
A Vision Rooted in Faith
In a poignant conclusion, Dr. Yılmaz invoked the words of HÜDA PAR’s late Chairman Mehmet Yavuz, who once said, “They call us dreamers. Yes, we have a dream—that the Islamic world will unite and that those who uphold the Kalimah al-Tawhid [the Islamic declaration of faith] will no longer undermine each other.” Yılmaz reaffirmed his commitment to this vision, describing it as a “Qur’anic goal—sacred and necessary.”
“We will not abandon this dream,” he declared. “We believe in it, and we will work tirelessly to make it a reality, for the sake of justice, peace, and the dignity of the Islamic ummah.”
A Critical Juncture for the Middle East
Dr. Khalaf Yılmaz’s statement comes at a pivotal moment for the Middle East, as the region grapples with the aftermath of the Iran-Israel conflict and the ongoing devastation in Gaza. His bold call for solidarity, collective defense, and a renewed commitment to Islamic principles is likely to resonate with both grassroots movements and governmental leaders across the Islamic world.
As tensions continue to simmer and the human toll of regional conflicts mounts, Yılmaz’s vision of a united Islamic front offers a roadmap for resistance against external aggression and a pathway toward lasting peace. Whether his proposals will gain traction remains to be seen, but his words underscore a growing sentiment: that only through unity and strategic coordination can the Islamic world navigate the challenges of the 21st century and secure a future of dignity and sovereignty.
