Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó to visit Türkiye for diplomatic talks

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, will pay a working visit to Türkiye on March 21, 2025.
In a press release issued on Thursday, the ministry confirmed the upcoming visit but did not provide further details regarding the agenda or planned discussions.
Szijjártó’s visit is expected to focus on bilateral relations, economic cooperation, and regional developments. Hungary and Türkiye have maintained strong diplomatic and trade ties, with both nations cooperating on energy, defense, and security matters.
The meeting comes at a time of ongoing geopolitical shifts in Europe, with Türkiye playing a crucial role in regional diplomacy and Hungary maintaining close ties with both the European Union and non-EU partners.
