The Prophet's Lovers Foundation, known for organizing Mawlid al-Nabi celebrations across Türkiye, invites Istanbul residents to their closing event this year.
The celebration, themed "Jihad Leader Prophet Muhammad," will be held on Sunday, May 5th, at 2 pm in Yenikapı Meeting Area.
Ercan Vergili, Marmara Coordinator for the Foundation, highlighted the successful events held in Batman and Diyarbakır earlier this year. He expects a similar enthusiastic turnout in Istanbul.
"We've been organizing these events to celebrate the Prophet's birthday since 2006," Vergili said. "This year's closing event will not only be a celebration but also a condemnation of the Israeli aggression in Gaza and a show of support for our Palestinian brothers and sisters."
The event organizers will provide free shuttle buses from various Istanbul districts for attendees. (ILKHA)
