Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu to visit Türkiye
Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Romania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Toiu, will pay an official visit to Türkiye on November 7, 2025, marking an important step in strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries.
“Oana Toiu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, will pay a visit to Türkiye on 7 November 2025,” the Ministry said in a statement released on Wednesday.
During the visit, Minister Toiu is expected to hold talks with her Turkish counterpart Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, focusing on bilateral relations, regional security, NATO cooperation, and economic partnerships. The discussions are also likely to include Black Sea stability, energy cooperation, and joint initiatives within the European framework.
Türkiye and Romania, both NATO members, have maintained close strategic relations for decades, with growing cooperation in defense, trade, and regional security. The visit is expected to reaffirm the two nations’ commitment to regional stability and mutual economic growth.
Diplomatic observers view the upcoming meeting as part of Ankara’s broader efforts to enhance partnerships with neighboring and allied nations, particularly within the Black Sea and Balkan regions.
Further details on the ministerial agenda and joint press statements are expected to be released following the visit. (ILKHA)
