The death toll from the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in eastern Turkey has risen to 41 with 1067 injured, the local officials said.
The last body trapped under the rubble was recovered in the earthquake that jolted eastern Turkey on Friday, said the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) in a tweet on Monday.
The 6.8-magnitude earthquake, centered on Sivrice district in Elazığ, occurred at 20:55 local time on 24 January. The magnitude of the earthquake was determined to be 6.8.
