The Turkish Ministry of Defense (MSB) has reported that 15 members of the PKK/YPG have been killed in recent military operations conducted in northern Iraq and northern Syria.
According to the Ministry, five PKK/YPG militants were killed in operations in the Gara and Operation Claw-Lock regions of northern Iraq. An additional 10 militants were reported killed in the Euphrates Shield and Peace Spring regions in northern Syria.
These operations are part of Türkiye's ongoing efforts to combat PKK/YPG forces in the region, which Ankara considers a threat to its national security. The Ministry's announcement underscores the continued military engagement against militant groups along Türkiye's southern borders. (ILKHA)
