Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay an official visit to Egypt on Saturday at the invitation of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
“During the meetings, all aspects of our bilateral relations will be discussed, and views will be exchanged on regional and international issues,” Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The visit will be the first such high-level trip in more than a decade as the countries repair relations damaged in the wake of the 2011 Arab Spring.
