Turkish Interior Minister meets with UAE counterpart in Abu Dabi

Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu met with his Emirati counterpart Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
“I was pleased to meet His Excellency Suleiman Soylu, Minister of the Interior of the friendly Republic of Turkey, and we discussed regional and international developments and challenges,” Nahyan wrote on Twitter.
Nahyan also announced that “the two countries launched a ‘Police Strategic Dialogue’ to enhance cooperation in the security fields and exchange information and experiences in order to achieve the aspirations of the leaderships of the two friendly countries in enhancing the security and stability of the region.”
After talks between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in May, the two countries signed investment deals worth billions of dollars, including agreements in energy. (ILKHA)
