Police have arrested 18 ISIL-linked suspects in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, the provincial police department said on Thursday.
2Turkish police simultaneously stormed some addresses at dawn after the Public Prosecutor's Office in Ankara had issued arrest warrants for 25 suspects, who allegedly have links to the ISIS organization.
While 18 suspects have been taken into custody, security forces are still looking for the remaining fugitive suspects.
The suspects are being interrogated by police at the provincial police department.
The suspects will be transferred to the courthouse when their official procedures at the police department are completed. (ILKHA)
