Türkiye expresses condolences over school shooting in Austria

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has expressed deep sorrow following a tragic shooting incident at a school in Graz, Austria, which occurred on Tuesday.
In an official press release, the ministry extended its condolences and voiced solidarity with the Austrian people during what it described as a profoundly painful moment.
"We are profoundly saddened by the tragic shooting incident that took place today at a school in Graz, Austria," the statement read.
The ministry confirmed that Turkish authorities are in close communication with their Austrian counterparts to determine whether any Turkish citizens were among the victims or affected in any way by the attack.
"We are in close coordination with Austrian authorities as we work to ascertain whether any of our citizens were affected by the attack," the statement continued.
Offering sympathy to those impacted by the violence, the ministry concluded: "We extend our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, as well as to the people of Austria, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
