19 Palestinians killed in latest Israeli airstrikes across Gaza

At least 19 Palestinians, including a young girl, were killed and dozens more injured on Sunday following a new wave of Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, targeting residential homes and displacement tents.
The attacks come amid ongoing international condemnation of Israel's months-long onslaught, which continues to defy global ceasefire demands.
According to local sources, the deadliest strike occurred in the Al-Sawarha area, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, where Israeli warplanes bombed the home of the Al-Arbeed family. Ten members of the family were killed in the attack.
In western Gaza City, five more Palestinians lost their lives when Israeli warplanes targeted a house on Hamid Street. Several others were injured in the raid, which leveled the residential building.
Another child was killed and multiple civilians wounded in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, where an Israeli strike hit the Al-Dayeh family home, located near the Islamic Complex Mosque.
The southern Gaza Strip also witnessed deadly attacks. The Nasser Medical Complex confirmed that three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a displacement tent in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis. Earlier, two more Palestinians were killed in a separate airstrike on a house near Al-Amal Hospital in western Khan Younis.
In addition to aerial bombardment, Israeli occupation forces carried out ground demolitions in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of eastern Gaza City, blowing up several residential buildings. The destruction caused further mass displacement and left numerous families homeless.
These latest attacks bring the documented Palestinian death toll since Israel launched its assault on Gaza in October 2023 to at least 57,882, with over 138,095 people wounded. Thousands more are believed to be trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings, unreachable due to continued Israeli aggression and the blockade on rescue operations.
Despite repeated international calls for a ceasefire, including binding resolutions from the UN Security Council and urgent provisional measures ordered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to prevent genocide and alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe, Israel’s military campaign shows no sign of abating.
The situation in Gaza remains catastrophic, with entire neighborhoods flattened, medical infrastructure decimated, and over 80% of the population displaced. Humanitarian organizations warn that conditions are rapidly deteriorating as access to aid remains restricted, and civilian casualties mount daily. (ILKHA)
