63 Palestinians martyred in 24 hours as Israeli genocide in Gaza escalates
The genocide waged by the Israeli occupation against the people of Gaza has claimed yet more innocent lives.
Local medical sources reported that at least 63 Palestinians were killed and 227 others injured in the last 24 hours alone, as relentless bombardment and sniper fire continue to devastate the besieged enclave.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the total death toll since October 2023 has now surged to 66,288 martyrs, with 169,165 others wounded. The majority of the victims are women and children, laying bare the systematic targeting of Palestinian civilians in what human rights defenders and international legal experts increasingly describe as an unfolding genocide.
In the past day, 15 Palestinians seeking humanitarian aid were gunned down or killed by shelling, while 80 more were wounded, in yet another massacre of starving civilians. The Ministry confirmed that since March 2025, 2,597 aid seekers have been killed and 19,054 injured by Israeli fire while waiting for food and medical assistance.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli snipers and warplanes deliberately opened fire on crowds gathered near aid convoys, a tactic widely condemned as an attempt to weaponize starvation against the besieged population.
Ambulance crews and civil defense teams continue to face impossible conditions. Dozens of bodies remain under the rubble of bombed homes or scattered on the streets, unreachable due to Israeli forces deliberately targeting rescue workers and medical teams. The Ministry warned that hundreds more may still be trapped under collapsed buildings, with little hope of survival as heavy machinery and fuel remain blocked by the occupation.
Despite United Nations Security Council resolutions demanding an immediate ceasefire and repeated International Court of Justice rulings ordering Israel to take steps to prevent genocide, Tel Aviv has defied all international directives with total impunity.
Human rights advocates stress that the latest massacres prove Israel’s ongoing war is not about self-defense but a premeditated campaign of extermination and forced displacement against the Palestinian people.
Palestinian officials called on the global community, particularly Muslim-majority nations, to intensify pressure, escalate boycotts, and mobilize solidarity to halt what they describe as a “holocaust unfolding in broad daylight.”
“Every martyr, every wounded child, every starving mother is a testament to the world’s silence in the face of genocide,” a statement from Gaza’s health authorities declared.
Meanwhile, despite the catastrophe, Palestinians in Gaza continue to cling to their faith and resilience, vowing that the struggle for dignity, freedom, and return will not be crushed by bombs, bullets, or starvation. (ILKHA)
