The 5.2 quake hit Syria’s southeastern Hasakah province on Tuesday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 14:17 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 36.1560 degrees north and a longitude of 41.1041 degrees east, and at a depth of 11.76 km.
The earthquake was also felt in Turkey’s southeastern provinces, including Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Batman, Diyarbakir, Şırnak and Adıyaman.
There are no immediate reports of casualties and injuries. (ILKHA)
