The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, met with leaders of Palestinian resistance groups on Tuesday.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziad al-Nakhalah, and the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, held discussions with Ayatollah Khamenei.
This meeting comes as dozens of foreign officials visit Iran to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly-elected Iranian president, Masoud Pezeshkian.
Ayatollah Khamenei endorsed President-elect Pezeshkian's decree in a ceremony on Sunday. The endorsement event, held on Sunday morning, was attended by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, alongside other Iranian and foreign dignitaries.
The official swearing-in ceremony for President-elect Pezeshkian is scheduled to take place in the Iranian parliament on July 30. (ILKHA)
