A Canadian citizen was shot and killed by Israeli police near the Gaza border in the kibbutz of Netiv Haasara.
The man allegedly threatened security officers with a knife before being shot.
According to the Hebrew media, a Canadian man arrived at the entrance of Netiv Haasara on the border with Gaza while chanting “the Israeli army is killing civilians in Gaza.”
The Israeli police justified the shooting incident by claiming that the man pulled out a knife in an attempt to stab a security officer in the area.
