Father Atallah Hanna has accused the zionist occupation gangs of exploiting the global and Palestinian preoccupation with the coronavirus pandemic to impose new faits accomplis on the ground in the occupied territories, especially in Jerusalem.
“The whole world is busy with the pandemic and the Palestinians are working on containing and eliminating this virus with their limited means, but the occupation authorities are taking advantage of such preoccupation in the interim and working hard to carry out its settlement projects and its exclusionary racist policies that target the city of Jerusalem in particular and the entire Palestinian land in general,” Hanna, Archbishop of the Palestinian Orthodox Church in Occupied Jerusalem, said in a press release on Thursday.
Father Hanna urged the Palestinians, who are busy fighting the coronavirus and its impacts, to be vigilant for Israel’s unprecedented settlement practices and activities in Jerusalem. (ILKHA)
