Gaza death toll surpasses 67,180 as Israel’s genocidal assault continues unabated

The relentless Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has claimed the lives of at least 67,183 Palestinians, most of them women and children, since October 2023, according to medical sources in the besieged enclave.
The number of those injured has soared to 169,841, with many left permanently disabled or disfigured.
Health authorities in Gaza reported that in the past 24 hours alone, hospitals received 10 bodies and 61 wounded, victims of fresh Israeli bombardments that targeted residential neighborhoods, refugee camps, and civilian infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe deepened further as Israeli forces continued their deadly attacks on Palestinians attempting to receive food aid. Local sources confirmed that 11 people were injured on Tuesday while waiting for humanitarian assistance, raising the grim total to 2,613 Palestinians killed and 19,164 others injured in aid-related incidents since the beginning of the war.
The situation deteriorated sharply after Israel broke the ceasefire on March 18, 2025, unleashing another wave of large-scale assaults across the Strip. Since that date alone, 13,588 Palestinians have been killed, while 57,800 others have sustained injuries, many of them civilians trapped in their homes under indiscriminate fire.
Health officials warned that the figures remain incomplete, as thousands of bodies remain buried beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings, inaccessible to rescue teams due to ongoing Israeli attacks and fuel shortages paralyzing ambulances and civil defense vehicles.
Humanitarian agencies describe Gaza as a “graveyard for children,” with the Israeli occupation continuing its genocidal campaign through airstrikes, starvation, and systematic destruction of the Strip’s health, water, and energy infrastructure.
As the siege enters its second year, Palestinian families continue to endure unspeakable suffering — mourning their dead, searching through ruins for survivors, and facing starvation under Israel’s blockade that has turned Gaza into an open-air prison.
Despite mounting global outrage and calls for accountability, Israel’s war machine shows no sign of restraint, while Western governments continue their political and military support, enabling one of the worst humanitarian disasters of the 21st century. (ILKHA)
