Genocide in Gaza: 89 more Palestinians killed in 24 hours

At least 89 Palestinians were killed and 435 others wounded in the last 24 hours amid the continuing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, Palestinian health authorities reported on Thursday.
The latest casualties bring the total death toll from the Israeli military campaign, ongoing since October 2023, to a staggering 59,587, with 143,498 more injured. Health officials noted that the overwhelming majority of victims are women and children.
Since the resumption of Israel’s military operations on March 18—following a two-month ceasefire—the number of Palestinians killed has reached 8,447, with at least 31,457 others wounded.
Medical sources emphasized that the figures do not include many victims who remain trapped under rubble or whose bodies are scattered in inaccessible areas. Emergency response efforts continue to be severely hampered due to Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense crews operating in the besieged enclave.
Humanitarian organizations have repeatedly warned of a deepening catastrophe in Gaza, where hospitals are overwhelmed, rescue operations are paralyzed, and the civilian population faces grave threats from both bombardment and a collapsing infrastructure.
Despite global calls for restraint and an end to hostilities, the Israeli military continues to escalate its operations, drawing international criticism and renewed demands for accountability and the protection of civilians. (ILKHA)
