Palestine Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) has warned that any Israeli step against the Aqsa Mosque will ignite a war, vowing to make the zionist occupation regime pay dearly for its violations at the Mosque.
This came in a statement released by the Movement on the third anniversary of the 2017 Bab al-Asbat uprising and in response to the israeli decision to close the Aqsa Mosque’s Bab al-Rahma area.
“This anniversary has come as the occupation took another foolish decision to close Bab al-Rahma, appropriate it, Judaize it and turn it into a synagogue,” Hamas said.
“Despite the ferocity of the Zionist oppression machine, it will not stand in the face of the massive Jerusalemite popular rallies on the ground, which are able to curb the occupation’s plans against Jerusalem and its people. The masses are able to do the impossible,” Hamas added. (ILKHA)
