Hamas: Israeli occupation escalates genocide and systematic destruction in Gaza

The Hamas Movement has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s relentless military campaign in Gaza, warning that the scale of destruction and massacres has reached unprecedented levels.
In its latest statement, Hamas revealed that the Israeli occupation army carried out another brutal strike in Gaza City’s northern neighborhoods, directly targeting the home of the Al-Juraysi family. The attack resulted in the killing of at least ten family members, including women and children, adding to the countless Palestinian families already annihilated in the ongoing aggression.
“The genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip is being completed through a multi-faceted war,” the Movement said. “This includes not only the daily massacres but also the tightening of the suffocating blockade, the systematic starvation of civilians, and the deliberate destruction of what remains of the health sector. These crimes are carried out in blatant defiance of international law and humanity itself.”
Hamas emphasized that the deliberate targeting of civilians and the collapse of Gaza’s already devastated medical infrastructure form part of Israel’s wider strategy of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement. The Movement accused the Netanyahu-led government of pursuing a campaign of genocide with the full knowledge that it undermines international peace and threatens regional stability.
The statement called on the international community, the United Nations, and all global institutions to uphold the principles upon which the international order was established. Hamas urged them to take urgent and concrete measures to stop Israel’s war crimes, prevent further forced displacement, and hold accountable those responsible for what Palestinians describe as one of the gravest atrocities of modern times.
Despite overwhelming evidence of war crimes, the international response remains largely muted, fueling Palestinian anger at what they see as complicity and silence in the face of genocide. (ILKHA)
