The Hamas Movement has accused the United States and Western nations of providing support and cover for Israel's ongoing genocidal aggression in Gaza.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, Hamas condemned the Israeli occupation army's continued operations, particularly in central Gaza, where hundreds of thousands of displaced citizens from northern and southern Gaza have sought refuge.
Hamas highlighted the recent killing of an entire family, including 16 children, as part of what they allege is a systematic campaign of violence against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly. The movement asserts that these acts are being carried out with the full knowledge and support of Washington and Western capitals, which, according to Hamas, are granting Israel the time and cover necessary to pursue its military objectives in Gaza.
The statement called on the international community, including the United Nations and its associated institutions, to take immediate action to protect Palestinian civilians. Hamas urged these entities to intensify efforts to halt what they describe as Israeli "brutal crimes" and to hold Israeli leaders accountable for their actions in Gaza.
This statement comes amid escalating Israeli aggression with significant international concern about the humanitarian impact on the civilian population in Gaza. (ILKHA)
