Iraqi Islamic resistance targets US military bases in Syria

Iraq's Islamic Resistance targeted multiple US military bases and facilities in Syria over the weekend, expressing growing anti-American sentiment in the region.
Drones were reportedly used in the attacks on a US base in Syria's Deir Ez-Zor province at the Al-Omar oil field and another military facility in the village of Al-Khadra in northeastern Syria. As of now, there are no immediate reports of casualties or damage resulting from these assaults.
This marks the second attack within hours by the Iraqi Resistance on American military bases in Syria. In a previous incident on Saturday, the Islamic Resistance claimed responsibility for a rocket attack on a US military base in Syria’s Al-Hasakah Province, targeting areas near Kharab al-Jir airport, which hosts the American base.
Iraqi resistance groups have been consistently targeting US facilities in both Iraqi and Syrian territories with missiles and drones in response to the Israel’s genocide in Gaza. These groups express strong discontent with the US military presence in the region, considering it a significant factor contributing to instability in West Asia. (ILKHA)
