President Erdoğan arrives in Tirana for European Political Community summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in the Albanian capital, Tirana, on Thursday to participate in the sixth meeting of the European Political Community (EPC), a regional platform aimed at fostering dialogue and cooperation among European nations.
Upon landing at Tirana International Airport, President Erdoğan was warmly received by Albania’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, alongside Türkiye’s Ambassador to Tirana, Tayyar Kağan Atay.
The EPC summit, which brings together leaders from across the continent, is expected to focus on pressing regional and global issues, including security cooperation, energy security, and stability in the Balkans. President Erdoğan’s visit underlines Türkiye’s growing diplomatic engagement in the region and its continued role in shaping European political discourse.
During the summit, Erdoğan is expected to hold bilateral talks with several European leaders and highlight Türkiye’s perspectives on regional peace, economic cooperation, and European integration efforts. (ILKHA)
