Qassam Brigades vow more strikes after ambushes kill 7 Israeli soldiers

The Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, declared on Wednesday that their resistance against Israeli military aggression will intensify, promising further strikes against occupying forces as long as the war on Gaza continues.
In a statement broadcast by the group’s spokesperson, Abu Obeida, the Qassam Brigades celebrated Tuesday’s successful ambushes, which resulted in the deaths of seven Israeli soldiers and left around 15 others wounded. The attacks were hailed as a powerful example of the determination and capability of Palestinian resistance fighters under siege.
“Our fighters are offering unique examples of heroism and courage,” Abu Obeida said. “The recent ambushes are proof that our people’s fighters are the most courageous and self-sacrificing freedom fighters of the modern era.”
Abu Obeida emphasized that Israeli losses on the battlefield are the direct consequence of the continued bombardment and occupation of Palestinian land.
“The funerals and corpses of enemy soldiers will become a regular occurrence, God willing, as long as the occupation’s aggression and criminal war against our people continue,” he warned.
The remarks come amid a devastating Israeli military campaign that has left tens of thousands of Palestinians dead or wounded, with large swaths of Gaza reduced to rubble. Despite overwhelming firepower, Palestinian resistance factions continue to mount coordinated operations, often at close range, reflecting their deep-rooted resolve and local support.
Analysts say these ambushes signal a shift in battlefield tactics, underscoring the resilience of the Palestinian armed struggle despite years of blockade, siege, and international neglect. (ILKHA)
