Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Vientiane, Laos.
The discussions are part of a series of diplomatic engagements taking place at the summit.
At the beginning of the meeting, Lavrov inquired about Fidan's arrival time in Laos, to which Fidan responded that he had arrived on Friday morning.
Lavrov shared that he had arrived from Moscow on Thursday and had already engaged in five bilateral meetings and one trilateral meeting with representatives from Russia, China, and Laos.
