The meeting took place in India, where Göktaş was attending the G20 Ministerial Conference on Women's Empowerment.
In a statement shared on her social media account, Minister Göktaş said: "On the second day of the G20 Ministerial Conference on Women's Empowerment, we had a meeting with Ogura Masanobu, Japan's Minister for Child Policy and Women's Empowerment. I believe that the meeting, in which we shared our mutual experiences on women, children and family policies, will contribute to the policy-making perspectives of the G20 countries.”
