In an official statement issued Saturday, Turkish Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun extended heartfelt condolences to the victims and the people of Pakistan.
“We strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,” Altun said. “We pray for God’s mercy on those who lost their lives in the attack, extend our condolences to their families and the people of Pakistan, and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.”
Reaffirming Türkiye’s commitment to its “friend and brother” Pakistan, Altun emphasized that Ankara will continue to stand by Islamabad in its fight against terrorism. “Türkiye will, as always, stand by our friend and brother Pakistan, continuing to provide all kinds of support to our brothers and sisters,” he added.
