Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan met with Nechirvan Barzani, the president of Iraq's Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), during an official visit to the city of Erbil in northern Iraq.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry communicated this development via its official account on the platform X, previously recognized as Twitter.

“Our Minister @HakanFidan had a meeting with #IKRG (Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government) President Nechirvan Barzani in #Erbil,” the Ministry said.

Over the course of his three-day visit to Iraq, Minister Hakan Fidan participated in discussions with several pivotal figures.
