Two Israeli soldiers seriously hurt in a car-ramming attack near the West Bank city of Nablus on Wednesday night have died of their wounds, the Israeli occupation army announced.
They were named as Eliya Hilel, from Tel Zion, and Diego Shvisha Harsaj, from Tel Aviv. Both were infantrymen in the Kfir Brigade’s Nahshon unit.
Following the attack, which occurred near the illegal settlement of Itamar at one of the entrances to Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces launched a manhunt for the suspect and embarked on intercepting Palestinian cars and assaulting their passengers in the area.
Hebrew media reports said the suspect turned himself over to the Palestinian Authority security forces after fleeing into Nablus. (ILKHA)
