118 more people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, rising the United Kingdom death toll from the virus to 36,793, according to the country’s Departmet of Health and Social Care.
“As of 9am 24 May, there have been 3,458,905 tests, with 110,401 tests on 23 May. 259,559 people have tested positive. As of 5pm on 23 May, of those tested positive for coronavirus, across all settings, 36,793 have sadly died,” the Department tweeted on Sunday.
110,401 tests have been conducted to detect infections over the past 24 hours.
