Yemen’s Al-Houthi warns of Israeli-American plan to destabilize Muslim world

Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, denounced ongoing US and Israeli aggression against Yemen and Gaza, describing it as part of a Zionist-American strategy to fragment the Islamic Ummah.
Speaking Thursday on the anniversary of the “Sarkha” resistance declaration, he called for unity to counter efforts to destabilize the Muslim world.
Al-Houthi praised the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza for their resilience, saying their operations have disrupted Israel’s strategic plans. “Their steadfastness struck at the core of the Zionist entity’s schemes,” he said. He also lauded the Lebanese Resistance for deterring potential Israeli invasions, pledging Yemen’s support against any large-scale Israeli offensive in Lebanon.
Criticizing the Islamic world’s inaction, al-Houthi highlighted the failure of 57 Muslim-majority nations to deliver basic aid to Gaza amid Israel’s blockade. “The genocide in Gaza continues while the Ummah cannot send a loaf of bread. This is shameful,” he said.
He accused the US and Israel of targeting Yemen to control resources and strategic waterways, citing a Wall Street Journal report alleging former US President Donald Trump pressured Egypt to allow US military access to the Suez Canal in exchange for support in Yemen. “The Suez Canal belongs to Egypt. US attempts to control it attack Arab sovereignty and serve Israeli ambitions,” al-Houthi warned.
Al-Houthi condemned efforts to sow sectarian and regional divisions, urging Islamic nations to unite in military and moral resistance. “The enemy’s plan is to divide and dominate us. Without a firm stance, defeat and occupation will deepen,” he said, calling for collective action to counter aggression and support Gaza. (ILKHA)
