Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, has revealed the deployment of a new ballistic missile in a recent military operation targeting the Israeli ship 'MSC SARAH V' in the Arabian Sea.
General Saree confirmed that the operation, which utilized the newly introduced missile, resulted in a precise and direct hit on the vessel. He highlighted the missile's long-range accuracy, marking its successful entry into service after completing experimental phases.
The spokesperson emphasized the Yemeni Armed Forces' ongoing development of military capabilities, stating that this enhancement supports both the Palestinian resistance and Yemen's defense against what he termed "American-British aggression."
"The targeting of the Israeli ship was a gesture of support for the Palestinian people and their fighters," said Saree. "It is a response to the massacres by the occupation in the Gaza Strip. Our operations will not cease until the aggression halts and the siege on Gaza is lifted."
On Sunday, naval forces targeted the 'Transworld Navigator' in the Red Sea using an unmanned surface vehicle, resulting in a direct hit. The YAF also launched several cruise missiles at the 'STOLT SEQUOIA' in the Indian Ocean, achieving their objectives.
Brigadier General Saree stated in a televised address that these operations were a reaction to the ship-owning companies' violation of the YAF-imposed ban on entry to the ports of occupied Palestine. These aggressive moves demonstrate the Yemeni Armed Forces' commitment to their strategic military goals and support for regional allies. (ILKHA)
