Yemen vows to stand with Gaza until victory

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, denounced the latest Israeli attack on Yemen as an act of desperation and criminality, declaring that it will only strengthen the Yemeni nation’s determination to resist Israeli aggression and support Palestine.
Speaking on the broader regional implications of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and its leading role in the axis of resistance.
“Yemen, both officially and publicly, maintains a sincere stance and is engaged in a serious battle,” al-Houthi stated, stressing that the Yemeni people understand the sanctity and importance of their struggle. “The alternative is surrender and submission to violation, as some in the region have done,” he warned, rejecting any notion of capitulation.
Al-Houthi called on Yemenis to take to the streets in mass demonstrations on Friday, urging “million-man marches” in Sanaa and major cities to show solidarity with Gaza and defiance against Israeli aggression.
These marches, he said, will send a clear message to the world that Yemen stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the Palestinian people in their fight for freedom and dignity.
Describing the ongoing genocide in Palestine as “the crime of the century,” al-Houthi condemned the Israeli occupation’s relentless massacres, which have been broadcast for the world to see. He highlighted repeated violations at al-Aqsa Mosque, warning that such desecrations aim to normalize crimes against the holy sites of Islam.
“The occupation seeks to solidify complete control over Palestine as a prelude to expanding its aggression across the region,” he said, warning that Israel’s ambitions extend to Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq under its so-called ‘Greater Israel’ project.
Addressing Israeli attacks beyond Palestine, al-Houthi condemned Tel Aviv’s attempts to weaken and disarm the Lebanese Resistance, warning that such efforts would leave Lebanon defenseless. He described Israel’s repeated strikes on Syria as a wake-up call for those who question the necessity of armed resistance.
Al-Houthi also expressed strong solidarity with Qatar following the Israeli strike on Doha that targeted Hamas negotiators, calling it a violation of the sanctity of all Gulf states. He criticized the silence of some regional regimes, lamenting that they have failed even to sever diplomatic ties with Israel.
Al-Houthi accused the United States of being a full partner in Israeli crimes, enabling aggression across the region. He warned that Washington’s policies seek to normalize violations of Arab sovereignty and crush any resistance to Israeli expansionism.
In conclusion, al-Houthi reiterated that Yemen will never abandon Palestine or back down from confronting the Zionist project.
“Israeli attacks, far from weakening Yemen’s resolve, only strengthen our determination to stand firm against oppression,” he said, calling on Yemenis to remain resolute and committed to the struggle for justice and dignity.
The upcoming mass marches in Sanaa and other cities are expected to be among the largest pro-Palestinian demonstrations in Yemen this year, underscoring the country’s central role in the regional resistance movement. (ILKHA)
