Yemen vows “decisive response” to any attack on sovereignty

A senior official from Yemen's Ansarullah movement has powerfully rebuked the Israeli Defense Minister's threats against Yemen, framing them as the desperate bluster of a faltering occupation regime.
Mohammed al-Farah’s response came after Israeli Minister Yisrael Katz provocatively claimed he would raise the Israeli flag in Sana'a—a statement seen as an attempt to intimidate those standing in solidarity with besieged Gaza.
Al-Farah turned the threat on its head, highlighting the effectiveness of Yemen's support for Palestine. "Before he dreams of raising a flag in Sana'a, the Israeli minister should explain why he cannot even reopen the port of Eilat, which our operations have successfully shut down in support of Palestine," he stated. "They cannot even protect their own ships, like the Galaxy Leader, which we seized as a legitimate act of resistance."
He affirmed that the Yemeni people, steadfast in their faith and resolve, stand unshaken. "Our options are many, our capabilities vast, and our patience is endless," al-Farah declared. "Any further aggression will be met with a resounding and decisive response."
The official argued that the Israeli regime's threats are a transparent ploy to distract from its catastrophic military failure and the ongoing genocide in Gaza. He warned that any attack on Yemen would only amplify the resistance.
"The Netanyahu government must understand that its arrogance and war crimes will not break the will of the people, but will instead ignite broader fronts of liberation across the region," al-Farah said.
In a steadfast show of unity, the Yemeni armed forces have conducted numerous operations in the Red Sea, targeting Israeli-linked shipping. These actions are declared as a direct and legitimate response to the Israeli siege and bombardment of Gaza, a collective punishment that has drawn global condemnation. (ILKHA)
