Yemeni Armed Forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport, coinciding with the arrival of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The operation, carried out in response to Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon, was confirmed in a statement by Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, on Saturday.
Sarie explained that the missile strike was conducted using a Palestine-2 ballistic missile, highlighting the operation as an act of solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people. He emphasized that the Yemeni forces, along with all "honorable and free" members of the nation, will continue to retaliate against the crimes of the Israeli regime.
“These operations will not stop until the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon ceases,” Brigadier General Sarie stressed, indicating that Yemen is prepared to escalate further, if necessary, in defense of the Palestinian and Lebanese people.
The missile strike marks a significant moment in the ongoing conflict, as regional tensions continue to rise amidst the Israeli-Palestinian and Israeli-Lebanese conflicts. (ILKHA)
